Jazz fair: Vendereis
Newly composed mass by jazz pianist Helge Wahl Flatland
Jazz pianist Helge Wahl Flatland has composed new music for the regular parts of the fair and together with musicians and soloists he presents jazz compositions with elements of Norwegian traditional music and church music.
Vendereis is based on the liturgy of the High Mass. Together with instrumental compositions and rearranged hymns, the audience is invited to a meditative concert that plays on the silence, the sound and the sense of calm that lies in the church space.
Entry is free and the donation during the jazz fair goes to SOS Barnebyer's project in Malawi.
