JAZZ FILM: Same song

Concert starts: 18:30 Price single ticket: Free,

1 hour 30 minutes. Serving.

World premiere of Ulf Myrvold's documentary about the Swedish reggae legend Peps Persson. Peps Persson has been a living legend in Sweden, but unfortunately died on 27 June this year. For years he toured country and coast with Blodsbandet, and many probably also remember the concerts he held in this country with songs such as "Hög standard" and "Falsk matematik." Peps has been a pioneer for both blues and reggae music in Scandinavia, and developed his own version with timeless lyrics in sounding Scanian. Despite the fact that he has avoided attention to himself for all these years, living deep in the forest in Skåne, he has received a number of awards and honors, and when the Skånians were asked who they wanted as "land chief" Peps was the first choice Zlatan.

In "Samma sång" we get a close encounter with Peps, where he talks about his childhood and his father, faith, hope and love, and how Scandinavian reggae was born during a car trip to Norway.

NB: In order to simplify possible infection tracing work, the cinema wants as many people as possible to register and download free tickets to the jazz films.
