An honest and beautiful depiction of a hopeful and crazy time, where a whole generation searched for the very core of existence. Starting from one of Nils Yttri's strongest poems, Odd Magnus Grimeland brings out the essence of the XNUMXs search for basic human qualities with care and powerful cinematic moves, and challenges the values in our modern consciousness.
The music is made by Acid Mothers Temple, Makoto Kawabata and Motorpsycho. Hans Magnus Ryan from Motorpsycho gives an exclusive guitar concert in connection with the film screening!

In 2012, Kvernberg won the Kongsberg Festival's grand prize and the following summer he "paid off" the prize with the premiere of "The Mechanical Fair", a magnificent work for jazz group which has since been expanded to include the Trondheim Soloists. This recording is from Molde in 2016 and Tor Hammerø characterizes it as follows: "Kvernberg and his fellow musicians have managed to put together the various impulses into an expression and a work that elevates the boss into the ultra class. He can now be invited to jazz festivals and chamber music festivals interchangeably – his music here speaks to everyone.
This is music so warm, so strong and so personal that no matter what Ola Kvernberg will come up with in his career, it will remain a highlight.
