Guitar virtuoso Ralph Towner has composed all the music for this beautiful and wistful film depicting the life of an immigrant family throughout the 20th century USA. Director Hamilton Sterling uses exclusively archive material in what has become a very close and personal, but also very universal film. Sterling is originally a jazz bassist, but has a long career as a sound designer on a number of huge Hollywood productions. Hamilton Sterling will present the film himself!
