Again this year, the Jazzbox will be a meeting point with concerts, Jazz talk and DJ's from early to late every day. Welcome!

Here we create the city's most pleasant area, with a bar, a relaxed garden atmosphere and free entry.
Each day starts with Jazz talk from the stage, where current festival artists and other festival people are interviewed by Audun Vinger and Filip Roshauw.
Throughout the day, there is young jazz on stage - perhaps you will discover a new favourite? In the evening, the Jazzbox transforms into a nightclub with lots of soul, funk, disco, hip hop and other delicious, danceable music!
| 12:00 | Jazz talk: 1624: Kongsberg's great sons Tom Hasslan, Axel Skalstad and Håvard Aufles talk about joint and individual projects and how the city made them become musicians. Daniel Spicer, British author, music journalist and festival guest. Has published a book about Turkish psychedelia, coming this autumn with a biography of Peter Brötzmann and after that with a book about Scandinavian free jazz. |
