The jazz box: DJ Martin Bjørnersen
On the last night of the festival, we can look forward to an eclectic mix of genres and moods, when DJ Martin Bjørnersen enchants (and fills) the dance floor!
DJ Martin Bjørnersen is known on a daily basis as a relatively high-profile music writer (in recent years in Klassekampens Musikkmagasin), but has also DJed regularly in Oslo and the surrounding area since 1992 (!).
There will be a couple of club generations, from Head On to Blå to Jaeger, and a three-digit number of small holes in the wall in between. The eclectic playing style and DJ philosophy have the dancing feet safely planted in what can be called the Rhythmic Blues tradition on this occasion, but with a range that can be described as "from gaydisco to gangstarap", and related music at the intersection - soul, disco, electrofunk, house and afro/outernational, mixed and presented with a veteran's seasoned handiwork and a hedonist's penchant for "hand in the air" moments.
