Helge Lien Trio
Pianist Helge Lien has, with nine record releases and intense concert activity around the world with his trio, established himself in the international top class.
In the spring of 2017, the trio's ninth record came out. In his review on jazzinorge.no, Terje Mosnes wrote that the album is "...a revelation of strong songs and brilliant communication". And this is how he concludes: "A lasting delight for the eyes and mind, this." Such enthusiasm is consistent with everyone who has reviewed the record, and everyone who has heard the trio in free expression on the concert stage is fully aware that none of them exaggerate.
