Last year’s Spellemann award winner is ready for Kongsberg – with a concert and jam session at Argus.
Composer and double bass player Bjørn Marius Hegge is one of the upcoming stars of the jazz scene. He brings to this year’s festival three fantastic musicians who transport the audience back to the 1960s, with a mix of catchy tracks, powerful compositions and playful improvisations. The music is clearly influenced by jazz legends like Cannonball Adderley, Ornette Colemand and Charles Mingus, but the band collectively pushes the music in a direction in which the musicians can freely express themselves.
