Springsteen interpreter and blood fan Håvard Bakke brings a total of 13 musicians on stage at Gamle Norge to present songs from Bruce Springsteen's album "The Seeger Sessions". This was Springsteen's first album in which he interprets songs written by others. By the end of 2006, the album had sold one and a half million copies worldwide. Some may have caught one of the legendary concerts where Springsteen had 18 musicians with him in Oslo Spektrum.
The styles swept through at Gamle Norge this afternoon include folk, country, blues, gospel and jazz, in one word: American roots music. The result is extremely loose and alive. This is a wild folk party that no Springsteen fan will want to miss.
Remember that you can buy a Gamle Norge pass, which gives access to all 7 concerts at Gamle Norge during the festival. Link to purchase a pass here.
