Old time dance has a surprising amount in common with traditional American bluegrass. The music is based on much of the same harmonica and rhythmicity, but why is there so little improvisation in old dance? This insists Old grass finding out by friday night! And with multi-instrumentalist Stian Carstensen at the head of a band consisting of the excellent jazz musicians Ole Morten Vågan and Ola Kvernberg, this is going to be a firework of a concert!
