Fretless Five is an Oslo-based jazz quintet originating from NLA Høgskolen Staffeldtsgate. The band plays its own music which is often riff-based and driving, but also focuses on the beautiful and lyrical with both arranged parts and longer improvised stretches. With a brand new album recording from Whiteroom studio behind them, the band is ready to present the material at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.
