Fredrik Høyer & the Valkyrie
A unique collaboration in a unique setting!
Audience favorites Valkyrien (Allstars) have, since their inception in 2005, been a breath of fresh air in the Norwegian musical flora with their unique sound in the gray zone between the traditional and the modern. During this year's jazz festival, they meet the street poet and stage artist Fredrik Høyer, known for his spoken word poetry. With a fascination for rap, hip-hop and jazz lyrics, he often mixes punchlines and inventive rhymes with humor and playfulness.
The setting for this unique meeting will help give the audience a very special experience. On the stage in the old Kongsberg cinema, a 360-degree amphitheater is being built where the audience sits close to the performers. The amphitheater has room for 110 spectators. This is guaranteed to be intimate, unique and raw!
The concert is curated by Nils Petter Mørland, theater manager at Bragteatert.
