Flappy Birds is a trio that was formed in Trondheim in 2014 and consists of Mona Krogstad (19) on tenor saxophone, Erik Grønnesby (19) on double bass and Åsmund Smidt (20) on percussion. The band plays its own material inspired by folk music, jazz and hip-hop. They convey an interactive and playful expression with a lot of improvisation and exciting rhythms. They utilize the trio format for what it's worth and create music in the moment!
