Ferdinand Bergstrøm Kvartett is a quartet based in Stavanger. The music is originally written and arranged together, where it ranges from the lyrical and melodic to the more energetic and expressive. Great emphasis is placed on instrumentation and variation in the soundscape. The result is a personal expression, based on personal references and strengths. The aim is to find back to what has been completely subjectively liked, across the entire musical spectrum, and make it something own and personal.
The band consists of Ferdinand Bergstrøm on guitar and composition, Kristoffer Lippestad on tenor saxophone, Vidar Starheimseter on bass and Olav Andreas Abildgaard on drums.
