Aspen Lind
One of Norway's most respected and beloved artists is finally back! Now he's coming to Kongsberg Jazz Festival with a full band. This summer evening, the audience can expect songs we all know, new interpretations that many have come to know through Every time we meet, good stories – and absolutely top-class musicians.
Espen Lind broke through in the late 1990s with When Susannah Cries, and has since established himself as one of Norway's most versatile artists. In parallel with a strong solo career, he has built an impressive international career as a songwriter and producer, with collaborations and hits for artists such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and TrainA rare combination of broad popular appeal and heavy musical credibility.
In addition, he has been part of the great success Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes, Holm, been a mentor in The Voice over a number of years, and continued to explore new expressions on stage. In 2024 he played Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Folketeateret, and in 2025 he composed the original music for NRK's Requiem for SelinaEspen Lind is an artist in constant development – but always with communication at the center.
This concert offers a warm, vibrant and musically rich experience, where the intimate meets the magnificent. An evening characterized by quality, joy of playing and genuine contact with the audience – just the way we like it.
