Eirik Hegdal has handpicked a dream team for this new music.
“Følk” is Eirik Hegdal’s work for strong, individual musicians with their roots in traditional music. Hegdal’s own jazz is at the music’s core, but it is stretched in the direction of Norwegian and Swedish folk music. The audience can look forward to a beautiful, woven texture of vocals, virtuosic fiddle music, percussion magic and Hegdal himself at Kongsberg Jazz 2019!
