Paris, 1943. Django Reinhardt makes a good living from his music and is spared the persecution that many Roma are subjected to - until the Nazi propaganda apparatus wants to send him on tour in Germany. Together with his pregnant wife, he flees to Switzerland, and we follow him on his journey with the Nazis hot on his heels.
The film was the opening film in Berlin this winter and is chock full of fantastic music and period colour. First showing in Norway!
