DJ Jazz?

Aleksander Tidemann is an Oslo-based musician from Kongsberg with active threads within a number of musical platforms. With a performing background from Toneheim Folkehøgskole, IMV at UiO, Live Electronics at Norges Musikhøgskole, as well as Sound studies in Australia, he is involved in various projects in the capital as a drummer, noise and improv musician, film composer, producer and installation maker.

On the occasion of Kongsberg Jazz Festival 2016, "DJ Jazzå?" up, as per tradition, with a spinning machine and tons of hip music to create the heidundranes trøkk at Norway's coolest festival. Here you can be served plums by Whitney Houston, or hard-hitting underground House from France. Something for everyone to hate and love. So keep the island and, not least, your ears open! There are also rumors of "Guest DJs" consisting of faithful Kongsberg people with connections to the town and the eminent music scene.
