Dirty Loops from Stockholm serves a terrific mix of funk, pop, jazz and R&B.
The band consists of Jonah Nilsson (vocals and keys), Henrik Linder (bass) and Aron Mellergård (drums). With steel control, playfulness and intense drive from the stage, there will always be fireworks and a high atmosphere in the hall!
The band was founded in 2008, as an experiment to try things beyond what was considered permissible in normal constellations. After two years of experimentation, the band decided to upload a cover version of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" to YouTube to maybe get a gig or two.
Several cover songs were successfully released, which eventually led to a record deal with Andreas Carlsson and David Foster. The first album LOOPIFIED was released in 2014, and contained mostly original songs. On release la Dirty Loops out on a world tour in support of Maroon 5. Since then, the band has released several records. Dirty Loops is also known for his incredible cover versions of artists such as Adele, Avicii and Justin Bieber.
When the band arrives in Kongsberg in July, they are hot in their jerseys after a longer European tour. Everything is set up here for a memorable concert with high pressure!
