D-lovely presents jazz that is engaging, warm and sincere, with a nerve that brings out the best in the music of one of popular music's greatest composers; Cole Porter.
Gro-Marthe Dickson (vocals, Hokksund) and Aksel Westlund (guitar, Bærum) play a self-arranged, mixed repertoire with known and unknown gems from the composer's long and rich career.
In the spring of 2015, they played together for the first time, a month later they played a kind of debut concert in a living room somewhere in Oslo. Since then, they have recorded a live EP and held concerts regularly at jazz clubs and festivals in the east and south of Norway. In addition, they have visited the Kardamili International Jazz Festival in Greece.
