Bill Frisell Trio
Iconic guitarist with exciting trio!
Composer and guitarist Bill Frisell has helped influence the music around us for decades and is recognized as one of the leading guitarists in jazz history. Now he is taking another trip to the Kongsberg Jazz Festival
Frisell is known for collaborations with, among others, Paul Motian, Elvis Costello and John Zorn, in addition to a number of his own projects. With a long track record in various trios, we are now looking forward to experiencing him together with Thomas Morgan and Rudy Royston.
Morgen is one of the most in-demand bassists on the international jazz scene and Royston complements the trio with his distinctive and dynamic playing.
