Barnivalen Friday 2024
We fill Barnivalparken with concerts, fun activities, workshops with music and song, theater and good atmosphere for three whole days!
Barnivalen is a festival for, and by, children and young people. And our wonderful clerks are there, so you can experience all the fun that happens in the park. At Barnivalen this year, we will be visited by many well-known and beloved artists.

In addition, there is a lot of exciting happening in the area throughout the day. A full overview of Friday will come when the entire program is ready.
At Barnivalen, adults can only enter accompanied by children, and must buy their own ticket.

Day passes for both adults and children cost NOK 175. Three-day passes cost NOK 335.
Disney pearls with Malin and Andreas
Our own musical star from Kongsberg, Malin Hoff Skjolde, is on stage with Andreas Hoff, and together they give us a bundle of the many musical treasures from Disney's universe. We promise a meeting with Frost, The Lion King, Moana and Aladdin! In addition, we also get the pleasure of some classics from previous films. Malin and Andreas will probably get a lot of enthusiastic children's voices from the audience joining in on the songs!
Malin and Andreas are both actors and singers, and have appeared in musicals such as Chess, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia and Matilda. Malin held a concert together with the Kongsberg Storband during last year's Jazz Festival, and there were many who enjoyed themselves in the sun. She is looking forward to being part of the Children's Festival during this year's festival!

What happens when two friends sneak into the hold of an intergalactic spaceship? Join us when KaPLiNG! explore the secrets of the spaceship, while trying to get back to Earth. COUPLING! plays its way through the galaxy with songs from the album KaPLiNG! from 2023.
COUPLING! was started in 2022 by Fredrik Vogsborg and Kjetil Aabø from Casiokids, and the self-titled debut album "KaPLiNG!" was released in the autumn of 2023. The music is described as a kind of hybrid between Gorillaz, Tame Impala and Knutsen & Ludvigsen, and is aimed precisely at the age segment 0-100 years.

With tradition-rich roots in idyllic Vestland, critically acclaimed Tidstyv enters the stage at Barnivalen at wild speed. They deliver a catchy and unrestrained package that oozes energy and character. Fronted by Hanne Rye, this is based on a unique new sound that is rarely heard in rock. We promise atmosphere for both young and old rockers!
In March 2024, the long-awaited debut album "Det Blir Bra Til Slutt" came out, and the band is currently on an extensive Norwegian tour. In April, they played at Energimølla, and we look forward to welcoming the gang to Barnivalen!
