Barnival Kick-off: Only Egil and Aslag's super popular children's show
Now we are so looking forward to Barnivalen 6.-9. July that we almost can't wait... And we actually can't wait so we're breaking loose with a fantastic concert in collaboration with Energi Mølla on 23 June! Only Egil and Aslag's super popular children's show will be kicking off the festival with our first ever Barnival Kick-off!
Aslag Guttormsgaard and Egil Hegerberg have played together for over 20 years in bands such as Hurra Torpedo and Black Debbath.
Aslag is also well-known from various roles in children's TV series such as Hønsemannen, Lesekorpset and Kometkameratene. Egil is known from TV programs such as Brille and Nytt på nytt and his own Bare Egil Band, which has proven to have great impact both among children and adults. Together they present a super popular children's show in a borderland between a concert and a play.
After more than 200 performances both under the auspices of Rikskonsertene, Den kulturelle skolesekken and various culture houses and other concert stages, the show is well rehearsed, but with an extremely large amount of audience involvement, no two performances are ever the same. This is a very funny, but at times also very challenging show for the children. Here they often have their first brutal encounter with everything from irony to some unpleasant truths that they may not be quite used to hearing, such as that children are actually a good deal dumber than adults and that they are also very noisy.
The latter is in many ways a self-fulfilling prophecy, because it usually results in a violent engagement in the audience.
Best suited for ages 6 and up. The doors open at 17:00.
