True to tradition, this year we also invite you to visit Avanthagen - the place where improvised music grows wild. The aim is to create something here and now, so we don't want to speculate about what and how, but this year's name guarantees top-notch improv experiences.

We get two solo concerts: The French pianist Eve Risser is known as a fearless, dynamic explorer of all the musical possibilities inherent in this instrument. Bassist Michael Duch is also a prominent voice in free improvisation-based music. Hild Sofie Tafjord and Audun Kleive were to be well-known names. In Avanthagen, they will meet as a duo for the first time.
