Activities in the park
Barnivalparken will be jam-packed with fun activities all day that children can take part in. Here is some of what you can experience in the park:
TREASURE HUNT
Join the Mining Museum on a historical treasure hunt and find five hidden treasures in Magasinparken.
MAKE YOUR OWN FESTIVAL BUTTON
At the DNB stand, you can make your own festival button, try taking a picture for a bank card, take the Kortlappen and test your football skills on the shooting wall.
LEGO ROBOTS
Learn about the process from silver ore to coin with LEGO Mindstorm. The Mining Museum shows you how to program robots to do various tasks.
FACE PAINTING
Be painted as a pirate, tiger, princess, or perhaps as a pop star?
TEDDY HOSPITAL
Do you have a teddy bear that needs a new arm, a new eye, or maybe just a patch? Take it with you to SOS's teddy bear hospital where it can have a thorough check-up.
SILVER WASHING
Find your own silver with the Mining Museum! In gold digger fashion, you wash out real silver pearls with a pan. You can take the silver home with you. (Wednesday and Thursday only).
MALAY JAM
An old Barnival favourite! Bring out the artist in you and be part of creating the festival's longest artwork!
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKSHOP
Use your head, we only have one globe! Come and learn how you can be environmentally friendly, and take part in cool environmental activities!
MINI OLYMPICS
Do you think sports and sports are fun? Come and try your hand at the Mini-Olympic, then!
