Agnes Hvizdalek

Concert starts: 13:00 Price single ticket: NOK 200

Voice artist Agnes Hvizdalek holds a concert at the intimate Galleri Åkern.

Agnes Hvizdalek is Austrian, but has lived in Oslo since 2008. She took an early impression of the experimental improvisation environment in Vienna, and with her fascination for the possibilities of the human voice, she has boldly and creatively created a particularly exciting expression. Within a few years, she has gained international recognition. She engages with her voice in many different contexts - across genres. She contributes to dance performances, theater productions, art exhibitions, film and literary events. In Norway, she has recently joined the music collective Nakama and is part of the band Nakama. This winter, her solo record "Index" came out, which was met with enthusiasm by the reviewers, and it is precisely as a solo performer that we get to hear her at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.
