Exchange tickets for bands!
There will be a lot of people at Kirketorget for the concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings. To avoid the queues at entry becoming long, the festival recommends that everyone with a passport or tickets to Kirketorget exchange these for a band at the front in the Båndboden.
The tape booth
The Båndboden is located in the center of Kongsberg, specifically in the Fellesbrukkrysset. Do you see a blue container called The magazine you are in the right place. The shop is open from 10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday.
What if you can't make it to the Båndboden?
Don't despair, it will also be possible to change to a band in the drop-in, but this will take extra time and make the queue longer.
Under 18 and want to go to a concert at Kirketorget?
Don't despair! Kongsberg Jazzfestival wants to be an open and inclusive festival, also for those under 18. That is why we have established a guardianship scheme where minor guests under the age of 18 can enter accompanied by a person over the age of 25.
Each guardian can take a maximum of two minors with them, and the guardian must supervise them at all times. Both the minors and the Guardian will be marked with their own bands, so that guards and serving staff can easily see who is under 18, and so that the Guardian cannot buy alcohol for himself or others.
It is important to note that both Guardian and minor must have a valid ticket for the concert in question. The guardian is responsible for ensuring that the minors do not use intoxicants before or during the concert and that the person who is the guardian cannot also consume alcohol/drugs before and during the concert.
You must fill out verge form in advance and deliver to the Båndboden or one of our ticket booths for registration and putting on a wristband.
Tip: Print out the guardianship form at home and fill it in beforehand.
